The PAIH Business Forum 2025 was held in Warsaw on 5-7 November 2025, standing out as one of the most important events dedicated to the SME sector and its partners, including institutions supporting both regional and international development. The Forum offered participants a unique space for exchanging experiences, gaining practical insights, and building new business connections- particularly for companies planning or already pursuing international expansion. Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to meet experts representing over 70 global markets and explore practical support tools offered by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
The Polish-Ukrainian Investment and Trade Office (PUBIH) actively participated in the event, representing the investor community and facilitating the exchange of experiences between Polish and Ukrainian businesses.
The Forum featured a series of thematic panels, two of which were of particular relevance to companies interested in the Ukrainian market and the construction sector.
The panel “Polish Business in Ukraine- Experiences, Strategy, Outlook” focused on the role of Polish enterprises in Ukraine’s economic reconstruction. Experts from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, and leading construction and industrial companies discussed the practical aspects of operating in Ukraine, outlining both opportunities and challenges associated with investments in a recovering market. The discussion provided participants with concrete information on support mechanisms, contract acquisition pathways, and cooperation models between Polish and Ukrainian companies. The panel also addressed essential legal, logistical, and financial considerations critical to implementing projects in Ukraine.
The panel “Will We Rebuild Ukraine- and How?” examined the role of the Polish construction sector in restoring Ukraine’s infrastructure. Experts explored key questions, such as: the scope of Poland’s potential involvement- as a strategic partner, contractor, investor, or project coordinator; the timeline and formats of effective collaboration; existing regulatory and economic barriers; and which international cooperation and public–private partnership models deliver the best results. The panel also covered project financing mechanisms, guarantee systems, and the capabilities of Polish companies across road, rail, transmission, residential, and public infrastructure development. The discussion highlighted the need for strong institutional support and promotion of Polish businesses in Ukraine, as well as the importance of building trust and strengthening Poland’s position as a reliable partner.
The Forum additionally hosted discussions on broader international investment opportunities for Polish companies in Europe, Asia, and North America and on leveraging trade experience to make informed decisions about entering new markets with capital investments.
The PAIH Business Forum 2025 once again confirmed its role as a key platform supporting the development of Polish enterprises on foreign markets, connecting the SME sector with government institutions, industry experts, and international partners.
The presence of PUBIH further strengthened the Polish–Ukrainian dimension of the event, enabling a practical understanding of investment and trade opportunities in Ukraine and fostering the exchange of experience between businesses from both countries.
