On 14 April 2026, a conference focused on investment financing and the role of capital markets in Ukraine’s reconstruction was held at the Trading Floor of the Warsaw Stock Exchange in Warsaw. The initiative was organised by the International Association of Polish Entrepreneurs in Ukraine, the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and InnerValue. It brought together a diverse group of decision-makers, investors, and business representatives from both Poland and Ukraine, including companies already active in the Ukrainian market as well as those considering expansion in the near future.

The conference provided a platform for discussions on practical investment scenarios and access to capital in a context shaped by heightened geopolitical risk. Participants had the opportunity to learn from companies that have successfully leveraged the Polish capital market to grow and scale their operations. Across multiple sessions, speakers highlighted Warsaw’s increasingly important role as a financial gateway to Ukraine’s recovery and as a hub for cooperation among investors focused on Central and Eastern Europe.

The agenda featured contributions from financial market experts, representatives of banks, investment funds, and international institutions. Discussions addressed, among other topics, the use of public capital as a driver of business growth, the role of stock exchanges, brokerage firms, and advisors in supporting corporate expansion, as well as the importance of venture capital and private equity in financing projects in Ukraine. Attention was also given to capital availability, investor expectations, and the challenges of managing risk in an unstable environment.

A key part of the programme focused on Ukraine’s macroeconomic outlook and the practical realities of doing business from a financing perspective. Participants gained insights into the experiences of Ukrainian companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, which continue to operate and raise capital despite ongoing challenges. Presentations showcasing success stories also drew significant interest-both from Polish companies operating in Ukraine and Ukrainian firms that have successfully expanded into European markets.

The event also offered opportunities for informal discussions and networking. These interactions enabled participants to exchange insights and build relationships that, as emphasised by the organisers, may translate into future investment projects and international partnerships.

Representatives of PUBIH also took part in the conference, actively engaging with institutional partners and entrepreneurs interested in developing projects in Ukraine. Their presence provided an opportunity to present the organisation’s activities and share experience in supporting investors entering the region. Participation in the conference also helped strengthen relationships with key financial stakeholders and identify potential areas for future cooperation.

Overall, the initiative demonstrated that, despite ongoing geopolitical challenges, interest in investing in Ukraine remains strong. It also confirmed that Polish-Ukrainian cooperation in the areas of financing and economic development continues to have solid foundations and promising prospects for further growth.
